Our Director of Technical Services and Engineering, Mike Hill, and our staff from Southern Management’s Supply Division bring over 29 years of field knowledge to our accounts. Our technical department regularly attends workshops, seminars, and conferences hosted by entities such as the Building Service Contractors Association and the International Sanitary Supply Association (ISSA). Southern Management believes in forming win-win relationships with innovative vendors and staying abreast of any breakthrough technology such as ergonomically designed backpack vacuums or the wonders of micro fiber usage.
The results of our research and development are communicated throughout our organization. We then formulate training and orientation programs for our employees. Hands-on demonstrations either on-site or at our Training Center, provide a thorough understanding of our products and their use. For example, our revolutionary Floor Lab gives our trainees the expertise to tackle virtually any floor-care problem they may encounter. Again, the benefits of equipment maximization and longevity -- combined with proper chemical use – are shared with you.
Through product knowledge and training, our company has the resources to utilize revolutionary products and equipment. For example, our Santa Rosa County School System pioneered the company-use of a ride-on carpet extractor and the advanced Fast-Track floor finish applicator. The theory of “work smarter, not harder” resonates and the benefits of this cost-effective, efficient service was felt by our grateful customer.
