Overview

Safety is not only a topic for random discussion but is also a behavior that permeates from Randall Steele, our President, to our newly hired service worker. At Southern Management, we believe that investing in proactive safety programs is a good business investment and more importantly is an investment in ensuring our people are provided a safe environment in which to work.

We strive to maintain an accident-free environment through the deployment of several different safety programs and training initiatives designed to address the hazards posed in our industry. We also employ various tools designed to help us move closer to our goal of zero accidents. Southern Management utilizes hazard identification programs and training programs and requires regular safety committee meetings at all locations - all designed to promote hazard awareness and promote safety.

We are also prepared to respond and react to incidents when they do occur through our comprehensive return-to-work programs and incident investigation procedures. When an incident does occur, numerous levels of management work together to identify the root cause and develop systems to address behavioral or engineering controls.
