Management and Technical Training
Southern Management provides thorough management development training for all levels of management personnel. Our process is continual and begins with front-line managers. Completion of various levels of our training programs, including our management skills series, is a prerequisite to career advancement.
Our training department and other trained staff members provide comprehensive training in the fundamentals of technical processes for each discipline. Management personnel must be technically proficient in all areas affecting their facility. We teach principles, explain applications of project management techniques, and expect our staff members to stay current with technological advances in our industry.
We encourage and support participation in various management and technical seminars and training programs to familiarize employees with new tools, equipment, materials, and work techniques. Our employees are similarly encouraged to attend programs conducted by various industry organizations. Southern Management’s staff members regularly attend national conferences and other seminars sponsored by both the Building Services Contractors Association (BSCAI) and the International Sanitary Supply Association (ISSA).
